It was the first beautiful and sunny day after few days of constant rain in New York. Jadwiga and Nick decided to have their engagement session in Domino Park in Brooklyn. They like the area of Williamsburg and thought that Brooklyn waterfront is a great setting. It is indeed! The Domino Park has open not that long time ago and I already had a chance to take photos there before.  Domino Park engagement session is a great idea to take photos in different surrounding than usual. The Park has a lot of variety of backdrops – from cityscape to vintage industrial silos. You can see other engagement session and more information here. You can also check out Domino Park website for more information
We spent a great time together walking up and down the industrial structures and along the bank of the East River. I’m not quite sure what Nick was doing but it made both of them laugh almost all the time. Good job Nick!
In Domino Park there is this thing that I haven’t seen anywhere else in New York. In the middle of the park there is a place where from many nozzles beneath the small water overpass the cool water steam is coming out every ten to fifteen minutes. It is a great future. Not only it gives you a relief in hot humid days but it also look very dramatic on the photos. See for yourself.
We have extended the location of our Domino Park engagement session and took a stroll few blocks away from it. In Williamsburg you can find little hidden spots for engagement photos, great art wall nearby. Furthermore brick walls are so nice as a background for pictures. If you want to have great photos, it is good to go there during the week day and close to the sun set. The Park is less crowded and the light will help a great deal too.
