Windham Manor barn wedding

Windham Manor is officially open. It could not happen at a better time for this Catskills barn wedding. As the trees change color, whole mountains turn orange, yellow, and red. All of it looks spectacular.
Magic happens in the beautiful Catskill Mountains. I love this part of the year. Indian Summer, as I remember well, has so much beauty. Not only are the colors, but also the weather, still mild and warm. The sun is low on the horizon and gives a hard-to-describe glow before it sets.

Forest wedding ceremony
Rachael and Mike chose a new ceremony spot in Windham Manor to say “YES!” to each other. It is between the trees, right beside the little stream. This place gives a sense of intimacy and privacy, but fear not—it can accommodate all guests.
Right around 5 p.m., they were reading vows before exchanging the rings. I was walking around taking photos of emotional moments as they were happening right before my eyes—all the laughs, happy tears, and words of love. I couldn’t stop feeling how much those two love one another and the support of their families and friends.

Outdoor cocktail hour

This is your dream come true—time to enjoy games and maybe your first dance on a vast lawn in front of the barn with all the guests and family watching.

Barn Reception

At the beginning of the day, I had a little chat with Racheal to double-check the timeline she had given me. I noticed that there was quite a bit of time between the ceremony and the first dance, so I wanted to ensure everything was running smoothly. But it turns out that the whole event was super chill and relaxed, which was great. So, we adjusted the timeline accordingly, and everything went off without a hitch.
I had plenty of time to take photos of two types of moments – romantic and adventurous. I’m grateful to both for being bold and letting me capture images of them. They were crossing the stream, running between fallen trees and more.
Meanwhile, all the guests enjoyed the rest of the daylight playing games on the back lawn of the Windham Manor barn. This is also where their first dance and parents’ dances took place.

The dance floor was open after heading into the barn and a few toasts. Taylor from Treble & Bass Productions did a great job entertaining everyone. Wild dances continued until the last minutes of the reception.
This Autumn Catskills wedding was beautiful and very fun. I wish you both lots of love and happy moments on your trips, wherever you decide to go in your camper.
