Windham Manor Barn Wedding

Windham Manor is officially open. It could not happen at a more perfect time for this Catskills barn wedding. As the trees are changing color whole mountains start to turn orange, yellow and red. All of it looks spectacular. In the beautiful Catskill Mountains magic happens. I just love this part of the year. Indian Summer as I remember well – has so much beauty to it. Not only the colors but also a weather is still mild and warm. The sun is low on the horizon and gives hard to describe glow before it sets.

Forest Wedding Ceremony

Racheal and Mike chose new ceremony spot in Windham Manor to say “YES!” to each other. Between the trees, right beside the little stream. This place gives a sense of intimacy and privacy but fear not it can accommodate all of the guests.

Right around 5 pm they were reading vows before exchanging the rings. I was walking around taking photos of emotional moments as they were happening right before my eyes. All the laughs, happy tiers and words of love. I couldn’t stop feeling how much those two love one another and the support of their families and friends.

Barn Reception

Right at the beginning of the day I spoke to Racheal and ask if the timeline she gave me was correct as I notice there was plenty of time between the ceremony and the first dance. It was much later that I discovered that whole affair was very very laid back and rightfully so.

I had plenty of time to take photos of two of them. More romantic and those more adventures ones. I was grateful to both of them for being so bold and allowing me to capture photos as they were getting across the stream and back, running between those fall trees and much more.

Meanwhile all the guests had a time to enjoy the rest of the daylight playing games on the back lawn of the Windham Manor barn. This is also where their first dance and parents dances took place.

After heading in to the barn and few toast the dance floor was open. Taylor from Treble & Bass Productions did a great job entertaining everyone. Wild dances were taking place until the last minutes of the reception.
