Jersey City Wedding Celebration
This wedding in Hudson House was truly something special. When I arrive early to this Jersey City Venue I had some time to look around. Dylan and Marc made a great choice choosing this place for their celebration. It is new, modern. Elements of raw wood and bricks make it also feel cosy.
But what is I think the best part of this wedding venue is that it has enormous windows facing Statue of Liberty and Manhattan on the other side of the river. The view is nothing short but spectacular. Hudson House is also getting ready to open top floor and rooftop. I think it will serve the couples even better then,.
HUDSON HOUSE IS MADE FOR BRIDE AND GROOM
Dylan was wearing beautiful gown from Anne Barge and Marc classic and elegant tux from BLK TUX.
Before the first look. Dylan wanted to make revle with her bridesmaids. It is always emotional and fun moment to photograph as all of her girlfriends and moms are discovering how beautiful she looked.
HUDSON HOUSE photo opportunities
Hudson House has a fiar size lawn on the side of the building with the view of Manhattan. It was just perfect for the first look and some portraits for Dylan and Marc followed by bridal party photos.
We did portrait photos in quite candid matter. Dylan asked me to keep it less formal. It was a good way to go. She and Marc were so fun to photograph and were open to my suggestions. Their radiant miles made the whole session such a pleasure.
There is also plenty space inside to take the photos. Beautiful lobby with brick floor and nice plain wall upstairs with the window light. This mixture of different backgrounds make a big difference and gives a lot of good opportunities for great photos.
Before the ceremony we still got some time to go to the outdoor patio on the top floor to take more bridal party photos. Even Though the wind was not in our favor I was able to get some nice photos.
Statue of Liberty View
There are many places both in New York and New Jersey where you can see Statue of Liberty. Hudson House is one of them. It is an nice added bonus to the rest of photo opportunities in the venue. The best views – I think are from top floor terrace.
Wedding Ceremony at Hudson House
You can of course imagine how nice it is to have the wedding ceremony in the space like this. There is a plenty of natural light during the day but also evening will give great opportunity for the view. Dylan and Marc started their ceremony late afternoon. This allowed to capture natural light in the space.
This gave everyone the chance to focus on them and enjoy the beautiful ceremony under the chuppah. Chuppah as a rest of decoration was made by made by Crest Florist. Delicate colors and gentle construction was just perfect for the space.
Reception full of fun
As we were going along with our day I couldn’t help to notice that there is quite a lot of people getting ready for the reception. Soon enough we found out it was a wedding band. After the cocktail hour they were all ready to entertain the couple, families and all the guest.
Entertain they did!
Dylan, Marc I must say – your choice of band was more than awesome.
It is enough to say that they not only played almost non stop but also they kept the whole party dancing whole time. It was sometimes hard to walk through the crowd to take photos. :). This wedding will be in my memories for a long time. Silver Pro Entertainment band was nothing but perfect choice.
I wish you both lifetime o beautiful memories build together. It was truly a pleasure to be a part of your celebration that day.
